The Pike County IDEA board is active in its efforts to increase economic development opportunities in Pike County by expanding or relocating businesses to the area.  The Mossy Bottom Industrial Park, developed with assistance from the Big Sandy Regional Industrial Development Authority utilizing multi-county coal severance funds, is located in Pike County and is home to ACS, Leslie Equipment Company, and Coca-Cola.
